באזור החפיפה בין מידות ניתן לבחור בהתאם למבנה הגוף ולסגנון הרכיבה.

בקצות טווחי הגובה עשויה להיות חפיפה בין מידות. מידה גדולה יותר תיתן בדרך כלל תחושה יציבה יותר, ומידה קטנה יותר תחושה זריזה יותר.
